Certified electrical measurements and reports

Mandatory inspections for commissioning buildings, insurers, and the State Fire and Rescue Service. We guarantee accuracy and official documentation.

Why are measurements necessary?

This is not just "paperwork" for bureaucracy. Electrical installation faults are one of the main causes of fires in Latvia. Regular measurements allow insulation faults or overheating to be detected in time, before an accident occurs. In addition, without a valid certificate, insurers may refuse to pay compensation in the event of an accident.

  • Commissioning For new buildings and renovated properties, it is mandatory to obtain approval from the Building Authority.
  • Insurance claim Insurers require a current technical inspection (usually once every 10 years for private homes) for the policy to be valid.
  • Fire safety Peace for your family and employees. Make sure that sockets, cables, and grounding are functioning properly.

Insulation resistance measurements We check that the cable insulation is not damaged, aged, or corroded. This is essential for electrical safety to prevent short circuits and leaks.

Thermography (Thermal imaging inspection) We use a professional thermal imaging camera to inspect distribution cabinets and contacts. This allows us to see what is not visible to the naked eye – hot connections that pose a potential fire hazard.

Grounding and lightning protection inspection We measure the resistance of the grounding circuit and the continuity of the lightning conductor. Good grounding is critical to protect people from electric shock and electrical equipment from damage.

Checking the connections We check the contact attraction force in distribution cabinets. Loose contacts cause sparking and temperature increases.

How does the process work?

  1. Application Contact us and provide the address and area of the property.
  2. Measurements at the site A certified specialist will visit you, perform tests with calibrated equipment, and record the results.
  3. Documentation We prepare official technical reports and measurement protocols in electronic or paper format.
  4. Recommendations If we discover problems, we don't just "fail" the inspection, but offer a solution and a quote for repairing the defects.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should measurements be taken? In accordance with fire safety regulations (Cabinet Regulation No. 238), electrical installations must be inspected once every 10 years. If the facility has an aggressive environment (moisture, dust) or chemical substances, inspections must be carried out more frequently. Thermography is recommended once a year.

Will the electricity need to be turned off during the measurements? Yes, for a short period of time (for individual groups or the entire facility), the electricity will need to be turned off in order to perform safe insulation measurements. We will coordinate this with you.

Is the document you issued valid for the Building Board and the State Fire and Rescue Service? Yes. Our specialists have all the necessary certificates, and measurements are taken using verified and calibrated measuring devices. The reports issued are legally valid.

Don't put off safety until later

If your home or business has not been inspected in the last 10 years, you are at risk.
